Warningcamp Wharf
"The River probably attracted the early settlers to Warningcamp as a natural routeway. Water-ways were important, and roads were built to the ford and later wharves. Warningcamp had a wharf marked on early maps next to the River Arun near the present railway crossing, as did Buprham and Bury.."

Now in the present day residents are trying to find ways to rebuild the wharf. This time, it would not be used so much for trade or railway building as in past times, but for recreational reasons. It would provide an excellent facility for families and individuals to use, which it may well have also been used for in the past.
